s are awarded each year, with two-thirds to North Carolina residents, to outstanding high school seniors for undergraduate study in any discipline at the University. NC State offers more than 110 bachelor's degree programs in science, education, liberal arts, agriculture, business, social sciences, computer science, communication, and engineering. The aim of the Park Scholarships program is to attract talented young men and women to NC State and encourage students to excel in academic, leadership and service pursuits.

Ithaca College – Park Scholar Program

Since its inception in 1996, the Park Scholar Program has offered opportunities to outstanding students in the Roy H. Park School of Communications. The goal of the program is to develop communications scholars and practitioners who engage critically, act globally and perform ethically. Approximately 15 scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding high school seniors across the nation. In addition to the four-year scholarships, a limited number of two-year Park Scholarships are made each year to "rising juniors" already enrolled in the Park School of Communications. The Park School also houses the Park Center for Independent Media, a national center for the study of media outlets that create and distribute content outside traditional corporate systems and news organizations.
