These grants are primarily focused on improving drinking water at the state and national level and supporting challenges to continued shale gas extraction and infrastructure expansion.  At the Foundation's initiative, it also supports efforts to address environmental issues in North Carolina, and national-level environmental health and toxics concerns, as well as several other areas of interest.

Environment > Drinking Water

These grants support efforts at the national scale or in New York State that promote: strong and enforced water policies; increased investment in publicly owned and operated water infrastructure; empowerment of communities and individuals to exercise their rights to protect drinking water resources; and reduced consumption of bottled water.
